Dev to QA:

  • Create and share the iteration test plan for the team. For each new feature, explicitly call out the relevant tracking work item and changesets, DB migrations, related ops changes and new configuration settings, if any.

Signing off in QA:

  • Run functional tests.
  • Run the migration-related testing, do migrations, re-deploy the worker, and run one-off galops tasks.
  • The test plan relevant to the current iteration is executed.
  • All bugs are either fixed or have GitHub issues tracking them.
  • Regression tests against the client have been run and analyzed.
  • p0 functional automation is defined for new features.
  • Create and e-mail a PR for the merge to Staging before actually merging.

Signing off in Staging:

  • Re-run functional automation
  • Re-validate major features in the Staging environment
  • Run the migration-related testing, do migrations, re-deploy the worker, and run one-off galops tasks.

Deployment

  • Windiff cscfg against baseline and make sure the changes are correct (wherever applicable)
  • Deploy by following the directions in onenote:///\clayco5\NuGetNotes\Nuget%20Gallery\Deployment.one#Steps%20to%20deploy%20and%20update%20passwords%20(in%20Antares)
