It would be nice to have a tool that can determine which parts of the release notes are relevant by inspecting the nixos configuration. Perhaps this could be done based on metadata in the release notes themselves (making good use of our docbook, cc @grahamc 😉 ), and culminate in a nixos-upgrade tool (or nixos upgrade, #54188).
