To reproduce this, just build catalog for an experiment where the catalog already exists from a previous run. When I hit "n" for the interactive question .. it still overwrites

Found existing file! Overwrite? (y/n) n
appending (without header) to existing file...
JSON generated at: /home/a1r/tests/mycatalog-jpk.json
CSV generated at: /home/a1r/tests/mycatalog-jpk.csv

I'm not able to reproduce this issue. An example case is needed.

@Ciheim try any existing test you have without a —slow option.

Share what you tested to make sure we are aligned on the issue.

Here is an example that I know overwrote the output even when I interactively said no and I suspect the issue is in the standard name slow mode false routine
