Tasks past due date still show up in pending tasks

I'm viewing the tasks on October 13th and I can still access and submit tasks that have a due date '2017-10-11 23:22:13'.
An example is task 691 with Status:
'["started","normal","n/a","before_end_time","not_opened","orginal_user"]'.

I'm not sure if the job is updating the status fields.
