Enhancements to the MET tools are needed to complete this task. Please see dtcenter/MET#2547 for this enhancement.

Describe the Enhancement

Once MET has been enhanced to support WRF output, test that changes work using containers. Remove UPP processing as it will not be needed if MET can read the WRF output directly.

Time Estimate

Estimate the amount of work required here.

Issue dtcenter/MET#2547 was completed by @georgemccabe to add support for reading WRF output into MET tools. Testing was performed using the Plot-Data-Plane and Grid-Stat MET tools to confirm that these data can be read into MET.
