Tool for creating my own .flitevox? #224
Comments
I need to check my notes and much has happened since I did active development on mimic. I think https://github.com/festvox/festvox is a good start and then the tools in the "tools" folder should be usable to generate flitevox files. But as I recall it this was a bit tricky. I'll see if I can find the original resources but they may have been on festvox.org ... |
Hey there, Just wanted to flag that Mimic1 is very old technology. If you're aim is to create a custom voice then Mimic1 isn't the best way to go. If there's a reason you're choosing Mimic1 specifically then ignore me. But more likely I think you'd be interested in recording voice samples with Mimic Recording Studio which can then be used to train a voice with any more contemporary TTS engine like Coqui TTS, or our soon to be released Mimic3! |
Thank you both! |
No official release date just yet, but I'd certainly be hoping that it's out within the next few weeks 🤞 |
Is there a way to create a flitevox file from scratch? (for example, reading a book or something)
