First and foremost, let's take a moment to appreciate what we are seeing—Microsoft, the once Linux-loathing giant, now explains how to hug and embrace the penguin with documentation and installation guides. Kudos for the change, folks!

I seem to have stumbled upon a bug or two in Windows that's leaving my inner Linux enthusiast in tears and driving me bonkers. Microsoft folks, if you're dishing out suggestions about WSL or Hyper-V as Linux-in-Windows magic potions, let's not leave us Linux aficionados hanging, shall we? We've got some pesky bugs that have overstayed their welcome, some even celebrating a two-year anniversary. So, before my Linux buddies start mailing sympathy cards, let's give these bugs the boot, shall we?

This set of bugs has kept me from hibernating my PC for over a year now. Would love an update.

Checked with the WSL dev team and they're aware of and working on all of the issues that you've listed here. I'm going to close this issue as this isn't the place for tracking or commenting on those. Please use the specific issue for that and keep upvoting and commenting on what's needed to help that dev team prioritize. (Shouldn't AI just be fixing all this stuff for us now? 😜 LoL).
