Trying to build mdbook-linkcheck from source with cargo build yields the following error message:

error[E0635]: unknown feature `proc_macro_span_shrink`
error: could not compile `proc-macro2` (lib) due to 1 previous error

Unfortunate.

Removing the Cargo.lock file before cargo build fixes it, but still...
