The line numbers output by mdbook-linkcheck are off when the document file containers mdbook-includes. (Also) mention the line numbers prior to expansions.

I'm not sure whether this is possible because by the time mdbook-linkcheck receives the book's contents it has already expanded any includes a chapter may contain.

You do have the source files though. Is it possible to get the source line numbers from the pipeline/API?

That information isn't passed along when the includes get expanded so we would be forced to use something unreliable like string comparisons or searches.
