Documentation in Rendered output

Should there be documentation provided in the rendered output of the site? For example explaining how to add in more information for each of the reports, or how to use commands to be able to add new data to the application? Or should it just be a link to the documentation on the website, since we don't know how they are injecting the data.

It almost seems that I need to start coming up with a way of displaying this data online so that it is accessible for other users. This is probably a step for much later in this cycle of development, but something that I should start thinking about in the near future.
