When I delete a comment which I wrote, it not only removes
a point from my score (as it should) but also subtracts points
from innocent bystanders' scores. For instance, when I
deleted a comment from
http://planetmath.org/14dependentfunctiontypes
it said

  • You just had a point deducted and now have 62876 score in the General category.
  • alozano just had a point deducted and now has 29798 score in the General category.
  • pjurczy just had a point deducted and now has 41 score in the General category.
  • The comment and all its replies have been deleted.

and when I deleted one from
http://planetmath.org/preambletest
it said:

  • You just had a point deducted and now have 62876 score in the General category.
  • CompositeFan just had a point deducted and now has 10566 score in the General category.
  • The comment and all its replies have been deleted.

Weird.

But first of all, let's note that deleting comments is a function that's only available to admin users (#305) so at least this is a somewhat "isolated" case.
