This is related to the "centralized bibliography" issue (#80), since every article should include a "Cite as ..." element that gives correct attribution to the author.

In general, the PlanetMath contributor who creates an entry may draw (with permission) from other sources. So, correctly handling attribution may be complex -- e.g. in an article that runs \include{CanonicalName} several times to transclude contents from other articles. There's also a simple case of copying with permission.

All cases should be handled correctly and a "Cite as..." element should be generated appropriately.
