In my organization, we are not able to install any VS Code extensions that make network calls. Would it be possible to release a version of this extension that does not include the function for updating the R package?

The branch "noUpdateRPackage" contains a version without the update command, which can be installed from the .vsix generated by the corresponding GitHub action run.
Thanks so much! Would it be possible to distribute or publish that with a different identifier? Our organization uses an allow-list to mark allowed extensions, and so adding it with the same identifier as the main version would allow both.
