Looks like the latest version of pytest-xdist (got release an hour ago: https://pypi.org/project/pytest-xdist/#history), is causing our azure pipelines test to fail.
See #2775 and #2880 for examples of failed CI.
I've got to rebuild my MDA dev environment locally, so I'll test it to make sure it is indeed the issue.

New pytest-cov release coming should fix this: pytest-dev/pytest-cov#422 (should be a day max from the looks of things).
