I want to do a simulation in a MV/LV network where there are two or three slack buses. Is it possible to do that in Matpower? if yes, how to do that? when we have multiple slacks do we need to multiply them with some participation factors? How to find out the participation factors for the network? is there any matpower case which has multiple slacks?

MATPOWER does not currently handle multiple slacks directly.
The only suggestion I have is to solve the problem using a single slack, then distribute that slack manually to the other slack buses according to your desired participation factors, and re-run iteratively a few times. I suspect it would converge very quickly in 1 or 2 iterations.
