Wrong branch selected?

Somehow random branches may get loaded with no option to change. We should look into this issue or maybe ask the branch to use before anything else (when adding the project for the first time).

However this "branch" thing is somewhat confusing for some people so maybe we should advice them to use master if available, or query the API to see which is the default branch. Some people may also use dev, developing or development branches, but we shouldn't guess, since they could well be stalled.
