Use of lolMiner in malware

Hi dear miner creators,
The lolminer is used as malware on my linux machines. I've never installed or downloaded it. The process called 'lolm' keeps popping up occasionally, consuming all my GPU resources. It's getting harder and harder each time to locate and kill it. It seems like it is plugged into some conda package because the binary lives in ~/conda/bin.
Could you please advise me on some defense mechanisms?
