Describe the bug

When copy-pasting custom channel emojis, emojis will be converted to text descriptions.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Select a custom emoji from the creator's emojis.
    image
  2. Cut or copy a text field
    image
  3. Paste text back to the text filed
    image

Expected behavior

Preserve emojis as emojis.

this is a general issue with youtube itself. u can verify this cuz the issue persists even when hc is turned off. idk what we can do without creating a completely custom replacement of the emoji picker and text input panels

Hmm, you are right, that unfortunate.
It only works in the mobile YT app correctly, so they did implement a custom emoji picker.
