Description

Please consider upgrading Lisk SDK v5.x.x to use NodeJS v18.

Motivation

  • NodeJS v16 is nearing EOL: https://nodejs.org/en/blog/announcements/nodejs16-eol
  • Since Lisk Migrator v2 uses dependencies from both Lisk SDK v5 and v6, the dependency installation fails due to configured engine restrictions in the (sub-)dependencies. To bypass the same, we need to explicitly bypass the checks with --ignore-engines flag when installing the dependencies
