Describe the bug

LE12 crashes or better a crashlog (unnoticed by the user) is generated during LE12 update via GUI

Update was : nightly-20230712-5e1975a => nightly-20230714-788de87

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. trigger an update via LibreELEC setting => update
  2. let the update finish
  3. see .kodi/temp/

Informations

  • LE Version: nightly-20230712-5e1975a (and nightly-20230714-788de87)
  • Hardware Platform: Intel NUC13

Log file

kodi_crashlog_20230715233520.log

Additional context

don't know since when exactly this crashes happens (have seen this in the past moons ago, though).
Cause I usually do update via a command line script (and don't get crashlog's):

it's still an issue.

crash_log is different:
kodi_crashlog_20230904142426.log

LAN device isn't ready yet.
what leads to the above error.

setting "wait for network" prevents the error.
but that seeting doesn't prevent a crash log during update via GUI.
Accentuation is on "via GUI".
command line updates are fine.

The error log when the network isn't up should be significantly shorter with the next LE12 nightly. Please reopen if a nightly from November 10/11 or later still has issues (with a new log).
