To reproduce:

  1. Have a instrument set to use mixer channel 3
  2. Drag any other instrument from favorites on top of it
  3. Open new instrument and see that mixer channel is now 0 (or very rarely 1)

Reproduced on the current master branch on elementary OS Freya.

Presets seem to remember their selected FX channel, and they shouldn't do that. Marking as a bug.

Reminder for myself to reproduce this when I get home.

In my opinion the more important issue here is that presets remember their FX channel.

Either way, I've successfully reproduced this in 1.2.0 RC8 and master (as of this build).
