The Coriolis type of station is common throughout the galaxy and occasionally you'll see the "dodo" station, but there's nothing much that really gives a 'feel' to poor systems.
I'd like to introduce a station type specific to poor systems. The obvious choice would be a simple cube, but I think something that wouldn't fit within a circle would be a break from the norm. An octagonal cylinder with the front facing the planet. It could also be non-rotating to make these types of stations more amicable to the novice and to highlight the 'low-tech' nature of the station.
Note: Elite-B has several of these, but I think one would be enough, at least for planets. See also #38 for dockable rock hermits.
