Thanks for making this port.

I wondered if you could license this code (maybe under the MIT license that Gruber originally used?). As it stands I don't think anyone really has permission to use it in their projects whether that was your intention or not. See: http://stackoverflow.com/a/1190648

It's effectively under a Creative Commons 3.0 BY licence, you may do anything you please with it as long as you give credit -- though I don't care if people don't; it's only a tiny bit of code and was derived from other work. I'm willing to grant users a BSD/MIT licence on request if they like.

It would be incredible if you could include the license in a LICENSE file or at the top of the code, just so people are aware.
