I am unfortunately a fish out of water on this site, I know nothing about code/computers on a scientific scale.
Secondly, I don't have an HDMI monitor to use to see exactly what my DreamPi is doing, or why.

I have bought two RasberryPi's 3 B and set them both up with DreamPi for use with Phantasy Star Online over the last 4 weeks, and they both worked fine to begin with. After 3 weeks one began not to connect to the servers. I used the other backup DreamPi setup for diagnoses, and it worked. I swapped out all the the ancillaries of the unworking setup, and still the backup functioned meaning it had to be either the RasperryPi or the SD card. I replaced the SD card with a new one and wrote DreamPi to it, still won't connect to servers.

Batteries on the line voltage inducer were replaced with new ones, even though the old batteries were tested to work on the backup Raspberry Pi setup as stated before

All lights are on as normal.

I then used my backup for a week, and now it is suffering the same problem.

Any help or ideas? What is DreamPi doing so different to work for weeks(or a week) and then refuse to work all of the sudden?

I have a new Raspberry Pi 3(all previous RPi's I used were RPi 3's as well) on order and arriving this evening. Will try it.

I formatted the SD card and tried running other versions of DreamPi, here's my results using a Raspberry Pi 3 B:
--Version 1.0 wouldn't run; red light turned on and stayed on, no Ethernet lights or Modem lights.

--1.2: Red and Green RPi lights on, no Ethernet or modem lights.

--1.4: All lights on as normal, same as Version 1.6, and my Dreamcast web browser confirms some type of connection to some kind of "net". (you can hit a little phone that lets you know if you are connected to "something", it is RED or GREEN. It will turn green)

--1.5: Same as 1.4

But the results are the same as the initial failure using 1.6: It says it can't find host name when I try and do a google search on XDP Browser. Normally it would allow me to browse the internet when everything was working fine.

Pcwzrd states on his website:
When I try and dial a connection on my Dreamcast, it says "No dial tone" or "No answer".
This means DreamPi isn't answering the call from the Dreamcast for some reason.

This is about as close of a diagnoses I can find, but his solutions have already been ruled out.

If the DreamPi isn't "answering the call", then a different version of DreamPi should work....If that doesn't change anything though...If different versions of DreamPi aren't fixing it, then does that mean the hardware on the RPi is failing after X hours of usage?

How can it possibly answer the calls for 3 weeks and then stop?

Kazade, I haven't yet setup myself to viewwhat the DreamPi is doing in real time yet, but.... could you think about something? As I said in my second post I bought a third new Raspberry Pi.

It arrived in the mail, and I unplugged the not-working Raspberry Pi, I plugged in THE VERY SAME ancillaries, all the same line voltage inducer, DELL modem thing, 9v batter, took the SD card out of the non-working RPi, and plugged it all into the brand new RPi.

I fired up XDP and it works like a charm!!!

I know I haven't given you view of my RPi command prompt, but is there anything you can think of that would cause an RPi so stop answering a call after a few weeks, but it does it RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX?
