Is there an existing issue for this?

  • I have searched the existing issues

Current Behavior

I'm relying on the LRCLib backend for lyrics, and it's great, but it often fails to find lyrics.

Take "I'm still standing" for example, it won't find lyrics
image

Even if they are available in the backend
image

I notice there is a duration mismatch (3:02 in spotube, 3:03 in LRCLib). Maybe that's the reason it fails to find lyrics, but it should ignore <5s mismatchs.

Expected Behavior

It should display lyrics, even if they are slightly out-of-sync, having bad lyrics is still better than not having lyrics

Steps to reproduce

Listen "I'm still standing"

Operating System

Linux

Spotube version

No response

Installation source

Flathub (Flatpak)
