Currently, we have pretty "heavy" run configurations for publishing a web app or a function app to Azure portal. It currently contains:

  • Publish to existing/new
  • Logic to create new/use existing App Service Plan, Resource Group, etc.
  • Database setup
  • Settings

It all makes the run configuration flexible, but hard to manage. We need to improve the UX for publish behaviour.
