\right command is marked in RED, like an error. However, it does not affect functionality.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Type \left(\right)
2. See red-colored text \right

Expected behavior
A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.
Shall be yellow-colored like \left

I bet you are using Bracket Pair Colorizer 2. See #1641 and the referenced issues therein.

@jlelong Ahh yes you are right. There is a solution posted here, could you check it and perhaps change the code accordingly?

Unfortunately no, because of my comment in #1534.

May I add that despite you using Bracket Pair Colorizer 2, which is btw reported as incompatible with LW in the wiki, you wrote in your first post that the issue appears even with all other extensions deactivated. It is really important to have precise bug reports for us to identify this issue and provide help.
