Fluid Vat eating ender pearls #555

I'm playing ATM6 1.8.9 and setup a fluid vat with RF and water. When I put ender pearls in it, it doe not generate any fluid.

The Fluid Vat will auto-output to an adjacent device. Do you have anything beside this block that might cause that to happen?
