When I add the File System Durability Plugin to a project in Visual Studio, I am unable to run the project using the Compute Emulator (Azure SDK 1.6). After several minutes, the following message is displayed in Visual Studio:

Windows Azure Tools for Microsoft Visual Studio

Role instances are taking longer than expected to start. Do you want to continue waiting?

Yes No

I've clicked "Yes" multiple times, but the project never starts. Removing the File System Durability plug-in resolves the issue.
