Hi, I am using Realsensor D455 with a raspberry Pi 4B. I also use it with my desktop. The sensor works well on desktop. But with Raspberry Pi. I cannot get IMU measurement, even monocular image occasionally. I also use ROS, and it has the same problems.

Here is a screen shot:

Do you have any idea?

Hi @Turing47 There are known problems with using the IMU on Raspberry Pi. Examples of such reports are #7391 and #10395

Hi, @MartyG-RealSense the sensor cannot get any data with IMU even I only run the motion module in real sense viewer. I think my problem is different with those.

Even with IMU on its own on Pi there have been problems, whilst depth and color streams have functioned normally. A RealSense team member speculated at #4979 (comment) that it may be a kernel related issue.

I have highlighted your case to my Intel RealSense colleagues as part of the past pattern of IMU issues on Pi.

@MartyG-RealSense Thank you very much. I will try this on Ubuntu 22 in Raspberry Pi.

Thanks for the update. My Intel RealSense colleagues recommended changing to a different computing board than Raspberry Pi if possible.

@MartyG-RealSense Thank you. Probably I will use Jetson nano or NUC.

@MartyG-RealSense Do you have any other methods? I do not how to solve the problem, so I started to work on something else. If you have any suggestions I am happy to give it a try.

Hi @Turing47 I do not have any alternative suggestions to the advice from my colleagues to use a computer / computing device other than Raspberry Pi, unfortunately. I do apologize.
