service to visualize and import anatomical models, PNS trajectories, nerve models
a dedicated NEUROCOUPLE and NEUROFAUNA service in o2S2PARC permits import of anatomical model regions and selection of specific physiological functionalization layers
this shall be realized on the basis of the viewer mode of the s4l service. a variant of that service shall be created in which models can be selected from a list and loaded, the model can be viewed, entities can be selected and somehow be marked or dragged for exposure at the output port.
it needs to be discussed, whether the resulting output is a set of entity identifiers, or a set of files containing the entities (e.g., stl for surfaces). perhaps both of this can be supported.
MVP:
The service permits to select a functionalized model from the available models (e.g., MIDA, NEUROMAN male, NEUROFAUNA rat, Head of NEUROMAN female, coarse NEUROMAN male, PNS functionalized NEUROMAN female...)
It is then visible in a 3D viewing window, along with a tree displaying the included entities
Entities can be selected/unselected
The output of the service contains the selected entities (what form is preferable? keep in mind that we might want encrypted models in the future)
