The computational backend based on a gateway can be auto-scaled via AWS API

  • Metrics must include CPU/RAM and GPU
  • For GPU solvers (iSolve for now) I suggest to use the full card RAM plus RAM/CPU consumption as in ARES
  • Once this works, we can reduce the ec2 instances to the bare minimum
