Summary
I added an option to turn off overlay icons in CleverRaven/Cataclysm-DDA#78053 and am now adding overlay icons to base RetroDays to supercede the sees-player-retrodays mod with the intention of removing it from the CleverRaven repo
Content of the change
Uses a few 20x20 sprites to achieve the same offsets that the mod had, adds colours for the different sees_player and the more intuitive bleed icon a la NeoDays but shifts it over so it doesn't overlap the move_modes
Testing
Additional information
Attempted and failed to draw smaller letters for the move modes that still looked ok. Also tried thinking of appropriate tiny non letter alternatives and couldn't come up with anything
Considered keeping the ! for bleed but that's confusing especially combined with the enemy see you icon. Also considered making the bleeding one a pool around your feet so it's less intrusive but decided that would just conflict with mutation sprites
