I am in need of a virtual camera system for a scene I am making. This scene has a stage that is flanked by 2 large displays (think "jumbotron") that I would like to be showing a close-up view of the presenter. There is a third slightly smaller screen back stage so presenters "on deck" can easily follow along.
How I envision this working is that we have a special camera element in Spoke that lets you define a predetermined vantage point for the virtual camera feed (much like we do with the Scene Preview Camera). This camera is linked to some special type of media frame that is placed in the scene on the surface you want the virtual video feed to display on. This special media frame component might have its own dropdown menu that lets you select from a number of virtual cameras in the scene (which might even enable people to switch the feeds on the fly, however this is not needed for my scene). The media frames might also allow you to select the resolution or FPS of the video - I picture doing this on the media frame end so that you might have a higher resolution feed going to a large screen/frame, and a lower resolution feed going to a small one.
Ideally this would be done before the release of this Spring-themed scene that I hope to release in early Spring.
