Question: Best way to add info for event

I would like to send some general information to everybody who attends an event.

I was thinking about using Adding a comment to an activity as the solutions, but it behaves in a strange way that I was able to add a comment and get it back using the API, but nobody else saw it and even I could not see it in the app. And in the app I cannot even create comments as it is reserved for coaches.

Is it possible to change the event settings, so that comments are visible to everyone, or is there an option maybe to also interact with the even's chat using the API somehow?

While it would be pretty cool to be able to send messages for an event's chat through the API, it looks like it is not something that will be implemented, so I am closing the issue due to lack of activity.
