PCB files for environmental tracker thesis project
The hardware section of the project comprises two PCB stacked on each other, the motherboard and the daughterboard.
The motherboard has:
- The MCU
- Bluetooth radio
- LoRa radio
- GNSS receiver
- Wireless charging IC
- External flash memory
- Battery
Meanwhile, the daughterboard has:
- OLED display (128x64)
- IMU
- Ambient & UV light sensor
- Gas, pressure, humidity & temperature sensor
- Microphone with amplifier stage
- Tactile switches
This project uses the versioning protocol: major.minor where an increase in the major number means a breaking change in PCB design - i.e. incompatible PCBs. The minor number is used to denote non-breaking changes - i.e things like: changing a schematic to reference a pin-compatible component, or change a schematic to include a modpack.
