In some previous versions, it was possible to hold down the ?123 key while typing special characters with another finger. This still works with the shift key, and I find it more usable than swiping from the modifier to the key (especially when typing several special characters).

In the current version, long-pressing the ?123 key opens the numpad, which breaks this usage pattern.

Would it be possible to add an option to choose between the two behaviours? (Eg make long-pressing the ?123 key open the numpad optional?)

Cool, it does this in the current alpha build. (Edit: long press brings up number pad, something I didn't know.)

I thought this was a cool quick access feature. Very nice to have it, would never have figured it out if I didn't check 😂
