AI Transparency Push: We discussed the industry's and regulators' growing emphasis on AI transparency. Tools like SCER are timely and crucial for both sectors. The consensus is clear: if GSF does not adopt SCER, others will. Therefore, the GSF community should quickly unite around SCER and work towards promoting it as an ISO standard. This approach prevents us from wasting precious time on internal politics while an equivalent emerges without GSF's input, which would put our community in an even worse situation within the industry.
Events Page Added: We have added an events page to facilitate in-person meetings and mini meetups for the SCER community.
To-Do:
@adityamanglik Adi will create a folder for the Green Software Certification Lab (GSCL). This folder will host the source code for the software implementation of the SCER standard, referencing open-source projects like CodeCarbon and Kepler.
