Election

Developers care deeply about sustainability—[62%](https://stateof.greensoftware.foundation/en/survey/#q9) express significant concern about climate change. Yet, many lack the practical guidance needed to integrate sustainability into software development effectively.

To address this gap, the Green Software Foundation (GSF) is opening nominations for its Developer Relations Committee (DRC). This new committee is dedicated to empowering developers worldwide by promoting Green Software Standards, advancing education, and guiding global outreach initiatives.

The DRC will act as a vital bridge between the developer community and the GSF, ensuring that developer needs and challenges are at the forefront of the foundation's efforts. Members will play a pivotal role in shaping tools, resources, and programs that drive the adoption of green software practices while contributing to a global movement toward environmental progress through technology.
