I noticed that Orvibo have added another Wifi product to their lineup, it's a smart power strip (pretty cool).

Price: $16-18 AUD or 79 RMB

They make two different versions, one with 4 sockets and one with 3 sockets and 2 usb builtin.

FYI: They also make a smart hub too, I wonder if their smart hub is just a wifi controller for ZigBee (like the IR controller), or if it's a separate product with a web interface or something.

I'd seen the Coco strip, and it certainly looks interesting, though the page says:

This extension will control all the appliances pluged in the socket at the same time. That is to say, you can trun off/on all the appliance it one button, in that way, you will not miss to trun off/on the appliances.

However if you're willing to donate one, then I'm more than happy to add support. Just send me an email via the address on my GH profile and we'll chat). I believe the protocol (based on my quick test of the HomeMate app) is slightly different to the AllOne / S20, and the Kepler, so this should make the library a little more robust.

And for anyone else reading who wants an update on the Kepler, I'm just trying to work out how the messages are put together, as there is a crc32 checksum within the "header" part of the message. I don't know what it's checking, but I suspect it has something to do with the time. Have a look at the Wiki for this repo to find more info.
