I think there could be a contextual minimal little toolbar on the preview pane (top or bottom?) allowing you to toggle between preview modes (so for example for a Markdown document preview [#7], toggle between raw and rendered HTML, and for a HTML source document actually have a webkit browser rendering HTML as mentioned in more detail in #50, and this toolbar could then become a basic browser one)
