  • Need to fix update url as update feature shows "Loading update data from GavicPro Update service..." only.
  • Need to correct help link in "About" in module settings, currently it has below.

  • Using Extension Manager > Updates Shows following: "Update: :Extension: Could not open https://www.gavick.com/update_server/joomla25/social_gk5.xml". Browsing to file works fine as well as normal joomla update from my servers works fine. Need to check please.
  • No help link in "About" in module settings.

@NormanUK - regarding the problem with GK5 series - I'll consult it with Robert at tommorow's morning, because it seems that we have some problem with redirects which leads to CDN using inproper way (that's why it returns 403 Forbidden)

Thanks for your reply @dziudek, just to let you know previous file errors I can browse to requested files ( .xml ) but not when using joomla update but in above case it is showing 404.

See you around...

@NormanUK - the update system should work again for our extensions like NSP GK5, Tabs GK5 and Social GK5 - could you check it?

Just checked in windows server.

Joomla update from 2.5.9 to 2.5.11 works fine.
K2 update to 2.6.6 works fine.
Our extension updates shows below errors. Installed only GK5 Tab and NSP GK5.

Update: :Extension: Could not open https://www.gavick.com/update_server/joomla25/nsp_gk5.xml
Update: :Extension: Could not open https://www.gavick.com/update_server/joomla30/nsp_gk5.xml
Update: :Extension: Could not open https://www.gavick.com/update_server/joomla25/tabs_gk5.xml

Also this is a j2.5 installation with j2.5 modules so module shouldn't check following update url.

Update: :Extension: Could not open https://www.gavick.com/update_server/joomla30/nsp_gk5.xml

@NormanUK - it must be something wrong with your server ;) I've now checked it on MAMP with NSP GK5 v.1.1.1 and it properly showed me update to 1.1.3 and installed it without any problems :)

Checked with linux server works fine. Windows server shows same results as before. Shows all other updates but not our modules. I ll check with a new windows server to see if its server related or windows server related.
