mobile menu does not work in IE8

Browser: Internet Explorer 8.0.6001.18702 (latest Version available for Windows XP)
Tested in official demo at http://demo.gavick.com/free/may2012/

Desktop:
In mobile view (browser window width <480px) in IE8 the mobile menu only has 40px width / so the items (links) are cutted. See Sceenshot:

mobile:
I tested it with Opera mobile, Firefox for Android, where it works fine, cause the mobile menu is shown as a popup. Does it also works on Internet Explorer Mobile on Windows Phone and Windows Mobile?
