Bug Report

Angelica seems to be unable to catch errors from textures it is unable to load.
Would be nice if it could be looked into for RessourcePack compatibility so it at least wont crash and just ignores such errors.

Final Checklist

  • I have searched the issues and haven't found a similar issue.
  • I have read the known incompatibilities and this is not related to one of those.
  • I am running an officially released version. (Or, if I've compiled it myself I plan to fix the issue)

Could you include a log with this crash so we can pinpoint where it happens at?

Some Crash-Logs etc.:

Note that the RessourcePack works perfectly fine when using OptiFine instead.
Also independent from which Javaversion is used. (tested j17-22).
I've also tried to replicate said unhandled file compatibility for a png angelica cant load but it happens only sometimes.

Also it seems to be a MacOS exclusive issue as i dont have any errors on Windows :/
Probably just needs some more testing
