Maybe we can divide the activities into two distinct sessions, as shown here. This way we can have a nice separation of past and upcoming talks and on-going projects that eventually may become some sort of talk (taking as an example the last datathon).

In this project section, I envision a really short description as well as a link to the repository (preferably within GEIA's team).

Humm, idk. Both of them are very appealing. Thinking in a prolific long run it might be advisable to keep them separated because it can be overwhelming to see a bunch of info all at once. But as of right now it could be better to keep them together to fill some space in the page
