Guidelines

  • I have searched the issue tracker for a feature request that matches the one I want to file, without success.
  • I have searched the documentation for information that matches the description of the feature request I want to file, without success.

Problem Description

I have consumed a long time youtube videos over yt on different devices. Some years ago I switched to NewPipe. Since then I only watched them on my mobile devices.
Because of a bigger screen I would like to watch them on my desktop device too.

Proposed Solution

For solving this I would like it if it would be possible to import and export the watch history in a NewPipe compatible format.

Alternatives Considered

If this wouldn't be possible, I would have to mark every single video as watched and it wouldn't be possible to know the exactly time stamp.

Issue Labels

new feature, support for external software
