Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft zur Förderung der angewandten Forschung e. V., Hansastrasse 27 c, 80686 Munich, Germany (Fraunhofer) is the owner of the rights of use and exploitation of the software „TREND“ (Software) and the owner of a pending German patent application with the application number 10 2023 125 012.4. In order to use the Software in the form published here, a patent license is required in addition to the license for the Software. It is hereby clarified that the MIT license below only grants a right of use in relation to the Software, not to the above-mentioned patent application or to any patent that may subsequently be granted. Fraunhofer grants rights of use to the patent application or to any patent that may subsequently be granted only on the basis of an express patent license. A patent license can be requested from Fraunhofer by sending an e-mail to trend@isst.fraunhofer.de. On the basis of the MIT license, users are free to modify the Software and use it in a form that does not infringe the above-mentioned patent application and any patent that may subsequently be granted.
