error while syncing #357

On another computer, with Windows10 x64, this mail account still works perfectly. Before the account is deleted, this error message flashes continuously : "...error while syncing ". I can not stop it and even clicking "Try Again" |
Today, I can not add this account again because there is an error message. (---> view log) |
I had noticed with the original version of Nylas Mail, that after deletion of an account: the parameters are deleted but the messages of this account are always stored on the computer. Example: previously with Nylas, ... |
I had thought to try to solve this problem. I wanted delete the folder of my account francois.m2@@gmx.fr with all his messages. (in the user folder) |
Hey! Thanks for reporting this—It sounds like a message in your account is probably crashing the sync worker, so it'll run for some time but eventually hit that email and crash. This is definitely a bug. I'll see if I can get it fixed in an upcoming release - I'm working on additional crash reporting to make finding these edge cases a bit easier. |
I have this exact problem with my Yahoo account. I'm using Mailspring v1.5.1 on KDE neon 5.14. The log file shows this:

I also have the same problem and thought it was related to a certain sender as it has happened to two of my accounts but only after I subscribed to a couple of channels.Don't know which one yet. |

For several days / several weeks, Mailspring is configured. There was no update.
I have not changed accounts or added a new email account
1/I closed and opened the software many times
2/ restarting the computer
3/ there was no error message (for several weeks or since the availability of this version 108)
Today I open Mailspring and an error message is displayed for a single mail account.
This error message is displayed permanently.
I tried to click on the button "Try again".I did not solve this problem.
I deleted this account and I wanted to add it again: error message.
I'm stuck or jammed.
I have another email address or other email account from the same provider that is working properly.
I do not understand !

The error is repeated after complete closure (without the icon in the notification area) and opening.

I tried with another mail software during this error with Mailspring. There is no problem !
