What is the chance of glance bar support on Fossify apps?

First off, very happy to see this forked. Used to happily recommend SMT to customers.... Before it started displaying ads. I'm happy to have a new ad-free, no nonsense SMS app to recommend when Google gets too annoying.

Second, I'm using a surface duo 2. What are the chances of adding the line of code needed to get glance notifications on the fossify apps? (Supposedly this also affects Samsungs with edge lighting.) I understand if it somehow won't work or if you don't have time, but it would be wonderful if it could be done. 😊 Blog post explaining process below.
