What are the steps to reproduce this issue?

  1. Visit episode 672: No Fair! (https://www.thisamericanlife.org/672/no-fair)
  2. click on "share a clip"
  3. move the scrubber to 00:40:31
  4. select the full text clip from Dacher Keltner which includes him saying "poor cars zoomed through the pedestrian zone"
  5. Click "NEXT"
  6. Play or Download the video that is generated. (mine: https://shortcut-videos.s3.amazonaws.com/672_2436.95_24.210000000000036_e44226.mp4)

What happens?

The audio fuzzes out to some screeching noise during the aforementioned quote. The audio in the preview works perfectly, but the generated video is problematic.

What were you expecting to happen?

A clear audio output that matches the preview and aligns with the

text.

Any logs, error output, etc?

no error output, output mp4 attached

Any other comments?

The submitted conditions to recreate the issue are only the first place I found the issue, it has happened in other clips of this episode. I have not tested any other episodes.

On what OS and web browser did you find this issue?

Replicated on Firefox 66.0 (64-bit)
Each on OSX 10.14.4
